Stuffed Cabbage
Stuffed Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 to 12 cabbage leaves, 1 c. rice, 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce, 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes and 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix rice, tomato sauce, ground beef and seasonings.
Form mixture into 5 or 6 balls.
Wrap balls in the cabbage leaves using toothpicks to hold in place.
Put in large pot.
Cover with rest of tomato sauce and tomatoes and add 1 can of water.
Cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
Remove toothpicks before serving.
