Stuffed Artichokes
Stuffed Artichokes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 artichokes, 5 c. plain bread crumbs, 2 c. romano cheese, grated, 1 c. water and 1 large onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Wash and drain artichokes.
Rap artichokes (top) against countertop to open leaves.
Mix cheese, onions, garlic and bread crumbs.
Season to taste. Mix well. Stuff between leaves.
Place in a heavy gauge pot.
Add 1 cup water.
Pour oil over artichokes. Place in water.
Cook, covered, until one leaf can be pulled off. Serve hot.
