Wash and hull strawberries.

Place in blender.

In separate bowl, combine hot water and sugar, stirring to dissolve sugar.

Add lemon juice and pour into blender.

PurΓ©e until smooth.

Pour into plastic cups.

Freeze for 1 hour.

Remove and break up mixture with a spoon until slushy.

Return to freezer for 1 hour.
