Strawberry Shortcake
Strawberry Shortcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. crisco or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix dry ingredients together.
In Crisco or butter as for pie dough.
Stir in milk.
Sprinkle surface lightly with flour and knead 20 to 25 times.
Divide half. Roll pat half of dough into a
9-inch pan. Spread with melted butter.
Roll or pat remainder of dough on top of butter.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove and pour sweetened, sliced strawberries on top and in center of dough.
Serve with milk, ice cream or whipped cream.
