Strawberry Pie
Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. fresh strawberries, capped and washed, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1 baked 9-inch pie crust, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Spread 2 cups raw whole berries over bottom of baked shell. Mash or break remaining 2 cups berries, then add sugar, cornstarch and baking powder.
Mix thoroughly.
Put over heat and bring to a boil.
Turn heat low and cook, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes. Cool.
Pour over raw strawberries in pie shell. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
Top with whipped cream. Serves 6 to 8.
