Strawberry Mousse
Strawberry Mousse is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. strawberries (4 baskets), 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. marsala wine, juice of 1 lemon and 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Wash and hull 8 cups strawberries.
In a blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, purΓ©e strawberries and sugar. Place strawberry mixture in a large bowl and stir in Marsala wine and lemon juice.
Stir gelatin into hot water until dissolved. Stir into strawberry mixture.
Whip 1 1/2 cups cream to medium thick.
Fold into strawberry mixture.
Pour mousse into a large glass bowl or spoon into individual dishes.
Refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled.
Serves 10 to 12.
