Strawberry Jelly
Strawberry Jelly is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (1 lb.) box frozen sliced strawberries, thawed, 1 box powdered fruit pectin, 2 c. water, 3 1/2 c. sugar and red food coloring (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Drain strawberries, reserving syrup.
Measure 3/4 cup syrup, adding water if necessary.
Mix pectin and water in large saucepan.
Bring to a full, rolling boil and boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low; stir in syrup and sugar.
Heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.
Do not boil.
Add a few drops of coloring.
Remove from heat and skim off foam with metal spoon.
