Strawberry Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with pound cake, sweetened strawberries, 1 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 pt. whipping cream (whipped) or cool whip and 3 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Use deep round dish.
Cut pound cake and layer cake and strawberries; beginning with cake and ending with strawberries. Top with: egg yolks beaten with confectioners sugar.
Beat this until mixture is pale yellow.
Add the whipped cream or Cool Whip. Mix well.
Refrigerate.
Is better when sets several hours to allow cake to absorb juice from berries.
