Strawberry Angel Torte
Strawberry Angel Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) angel food cake, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed, 1 envelope unflavored gelatin, 1/4 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Split cake horizontally into 3 layers.
Drain strawberries and combine juice with gelatin.
Let stand 1 minute.
Add sugar and lemon juice.
Microcook 2 minutes until sugar and gelatin are dissolved.
Refrigerate for 25 minutes.
Combine gelatin mixture, strawberries and vanilla.
Beat at high speed of electric mixer until light and frothy.
Whip cream and fold into strawberry mixture.
