Stir-Fried Steak
Stir-Fried Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. sirloin steak, 1/2 c. soy sauce, 2 tbsp. sherry, 3 cloves garlic and 1 bunch fresh broccoli, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Partially freeze steak; slice across grain into 3 x 1/4-inch strips.
Set aside.
Combine soy sauce, sherry and garlic; mix well.
Add steak and marinate 30 minutes.
Trim off large outer leaves of broccoli and remove tough ends of stalks.
Wash broccoli thoroughly; cut stalks diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
If stalks are more than 1 inch in diameter, cut in halves lengthwise. Separate flowerets into small pieces.
