Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. squash, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 c. mayonnaise, 1/2 c. pecans, chopped or water chestnuts, sliced and 1/2 c. cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook squash, drain and mash.
Add all remaining ingredients except margarine and cracker crumbs.
Place ingredients in buttered 2-quart casserole dish. Top with crumbs and dot with margarine. Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
May be frozen. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
