Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 22 minutes. Made with . yellow squash, salt and pepper to taste, (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted), margarine, melted and small onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook squash and onion in small amount of water; drain.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and 1 tablespoon of margarine.
Stir in soup, sour cream and pimento; set aside.
Combine half of stuffing mix and 1/2 stick margarine, melted; blend well.
Combine half of the stuffing mixture all all of the squash mixture.
Spoon into a 2-quart casserole.
Top with remaining stuffing mixture. Bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
