Sponge Cake
Sponge Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 6 eggs, 1 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Separate eggs.
Beat whites for 10 minutes.
Set aside.
Add sugar to egg yolks and beat 15 minutes.
Combine egg yolks with egg whites and beat 2 minutes more.
Add flour gradually until well blended.
Add baking powder with 1 tsp. flour while beating mixture slowly.
Add vanilla and beat only 1 to 2 minutes more. Bake in large round 12- inch pan, lightly greased and floured at 350Β° for 45 - 50 minutes.
Do not open oven.
Do not use tube pan, it's not large enough for this batter.
