Split Pea Soup
Split Pea Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. green split peas, washed and sorted, 3 qt. water, parsley, dill, oregano and bay leaves to taste, 1/4 to 1 c. carrots and 1/4 to 1 c. celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat water, peas and spices to boiling.
Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours until peas are soft.
Add vegetables and simmer until tender (may need to add more water).
Add bouillon and jarred meat.
