Spinach-Pecan Bake
Spinach-Pecan Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. finely chopped onion, 1 c. light cream or half and half and 1/3 c. packaged bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Butter a 1 1/2-quart shallow baking dish. Cook spinach and set aside to drain.
Melt 1/4 cup butter.
Saute onion until tender.
Combine spinach, onion, cream, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, pecans, salt, nutmeg and pepper in large bowl and mix. Put in baking dish.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter and stir in spinach.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
