Spicy Stuffed Mushrooms
Spicy Stuffed Mushrooms is an easy dinner. Made with 12 large white mushrooms, 1 c. spicy tomato sauce, 1/2 c. pepperoni, minced, 1/2 c. salami, minced and 1 c. gruyere or mozzarella cheese-grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Rinse mushrooms and remove stems.
Place mushrooms, cap side down, on a cookie sheet.
Spoon a bit of sauce in cavity.
Alternate layers of pepperoni and salami on top of the sauce.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until bubbly and cheese has melted.
Serve at once.
Serves 6 (2 mushrooms per person).
