Spicy Sauerkraut Balls is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained and chopped, 1 lb. pork sausage, 3/4 c. quick or old-fashioned oats (uncooked), 1 egg, beaten and 2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Pat excess moisture from sauerkraut with absorbent paper towels.
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Bake in ungreased, shallow baking pan in preheated 375Β° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve warm.
