Special Pumpkin Bread
Special Pumpkin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. oleo or butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 can pumpkin and 2/3 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cream together the oleo or butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Beat thoroughly; mix in pumpkin and water.
Combine in separate bowl the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Mix well; stir dry ingredients into pumpkin a little at a time, stirring until batter is well blended.
Stir in cherries and walnuts. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans.
Pour in batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
