Spanish Pork Chops

Brown both sides of pork chops; season with garlic and onion. Use enough long grain rice to feed total group; cook until done. In a Pam sprayed pan, place browned chops. After rice is cooked, drain; return to kettle.
Mix in the jar of salsa.
(Amount of salsa depends on servings of rice.
Rice should be moist.)
Place a slice of raw onion on each chop.
Place rice mixture over each chop; let it fall around the meat.
Cover pan with foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours, or until chops are tender.
