Spaghetti Sauce
Spaghetti Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 bushel tomatoes, 4 green peppers, 3 lb. onions, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 4 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cut up tomatoes and cook 1/2 hour or longer.
Put through sieve.
Combine green peppers and onions with 1 pint of oil.
Cook and grind.
Add sugar, tomato paste, oregano, sweet basil and salt.
Add to tomato juice and cook until thick, about 2 hours or longer, if needed.
Pour into jars and seal.
Makes 10 to 11 pints.
