Spaghetti Pie
Spaghetti Pie is an impressive dinner. Made with 16 oz. vermicelli or spaghetti, 4 tbsp. butter, 2/3 c. grated parmesan cheese, 4 well beaten eggs and 2 c. (16 oz.) low-fat cottage cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Stir butter into hot mixture.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and eggs.
Form spaghetti mixture into a crust.
In skillet, cook beef, onions and peppers until tender and meat is brown.
Drain excess fat.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
Heat through.
Put mixture into crust.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 5 more minutes.
