Spaghetti Pie
Spaghetti Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 oz. spaghetti, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese, 2 well-beaten eggs and 1 c. cottage cheese (8 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain (should be about 3 cups).
Stir butter or margarine into hot spaghetti. Stir in Parmesan cheese and beaten eggs.
Form spaghetti mixture into a buttered 10-inch pie plate as a crust.
In skillet, cook ground beef or sausage, onion and green pepper until vegetables are tender and meat is browned.
Drain off excess fat.
Add spaghetti sauce.
Heat thoroughly.
Turn meat "mixture" into spaghetti crust.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
Serves 6.
