Soy-Banana Bread
Soy-Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. soy flour, 1 1/3 c. white flour, 2 3/4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. soda and 3/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Sift together soy and white flour, baking powder, soda, salt, sugar and dry milk.
Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Add and mix just until moistened the egg, water, mashed bananas and chopped nuts.
Spread in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake 50 minutes.
Remove loaf from pan to cool. Delicious warm or toasted.
Makes 1 loaf.
