Southwestern Chicken
Southwestern Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can stewed tomatoes, 1/4 c. green chile salsa, 3/4 c. chopped onion, 1 garlic clove, minced and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine tomatoes, salsa, onion, garlic and salt.
Set aside. Coat chicken with flour.
In 10-inch skillet with lid, heat oil on medium heat.
Saute chicken 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden.
Pour sauce over, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
Serve on rice with a dollop of sour cream.
