Southwestern Bean Dip
Southwestern Bean Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lbs. ground beef, 1 tbsp. dried minced onion, 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce, 1 can (16 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed and drained and 1 can (15 oz.) chili beans, rinsed and drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
Transfer to a bowl; add the onion.
Mash with a fork until crumbly; set aside.
In a blender or food processor, process the tomato sauce and beans until chunky.
Add to beef mixture and mix well.
Spoon 1/2 into a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish.
Top with 1/2 of the cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Serve hot with chips.
