Southern Stewed Corn

Cut corn from cob.
Heat butter or margarine in skillet and add corn.
Cook at medium for about 5 minutes, stirring often (may stick to bottom of pan if not stirred often).
Sprinkle flour, sugar and salt on top of corn and stir well.
Add milk and stir again.
Continue cooking at low heat for another 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.
Serves 6.
