Southern Spoon Bread
Southern Spoon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cornmeal, 2 c. cold water, 2 tsp. salt, 1 c. milk and 2 or 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix cornmeal, water and salt in pan and boil for 5 minutes. Stir while boiling.
Add milk and well beaten eggs.
Stir in melted margarine.
Mix well over low heat.
Pour into a well-greased, hot baking dish (should fill the dish 2/3 full). Bake for 50 minutes at 375Β° until top begins to brown.
Serve hot from pan and top with butter.
