Sift flour, soda and salt together, then add eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately. Add vanilla.
Pour in greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325Β° or until cake stays in place when touched lightly with finger.
Cake will pull away from pan slightly.
