Soft Pretzels
Soft Pretzels is an easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope dry yeast, 1 1/2 c. warm water, 4 c. flour, 1 egg and coarse salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water (105° to 115°).
Blend in the flour.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead it until it is smooth.
Break off small pieces of dough; roll them into ropes.
Twist the ropes into the traditional pretzel shape.
Arrange the pretzels on cookie sheets, lined with greased paper.
Brush them with beaten egg and sprinkle them generously with salt.
