Soft Oatmeal Cookies
Soft Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. packed brown sugar, 1 c. shortening (crisco works well), 3 eggs, 3 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a large mixing bowl, cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, soda and spices.
Add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture.
Stir in oats, raisins and nuts.
Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
