Snickerdoodle Drops
Snickerdoodle Drops is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 3/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. granulated sugar, 2 eggs and 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Grease cookie sheet.
In a large bowl beat together butter, brown sugar and 3/4 cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, soda and salt.
Add to sugar mixture.
Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto prepared cookie sheet.
In a small bowl, combine remaining 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle lightly over each cookie. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
Remove to wire cooling rack.
Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
