Pound into steak a mixture of self-rising flour, salt and garlic salt.
Fry steak quickly on all sides in 3 tablespoons hot oil.
Remove; cook all of the steak.
Add more oil if needed.
When all of the steak is cooked, remove from pan.
Add 3 tablespoons self-rising flour; brown well, adding oil if needed.
Mix water or milk and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour into browned flour; cook until a thin gravy.
Add more milk if needed.
Return browned steak to gravy; simmer for 30 minutes.
May add chopped onion to meat before the simmering starts.
Serve with rice, green beans and garden salad.
