Smoky Salmon Spread
Smoky Salmon Spread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (7 1/2 or 7 3/4 oz.) can alaska salmon, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 3 drops liquid smoke flavoring, 3 tbsp. sliced green onion and sunshine or hi ho krispy crackers, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Drain salmon, reserving 2 teaspoons liquid, and flake. Combine cream cheese, liquid smoke and salmon liquid; blend thoroughly.
Stir in green onion, then fold in salmon. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight to blend flavors. Serve as a spread with crackers.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups spread.
