Skillet Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. white karo syrup, 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 c. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine margarine, sugar, syrup, nuts, and dates and beaten egg in a large skillet.
Cook, stirring constantly until soft ball forms in cold water.
Add vanilla and Rice Krispies.
Roll into 2 long rolls.
Then roll them in powdered sugar or coconut. Refrigerate until firm.
Slice.
