Six Layer Dinner
Six Layer Dinner is an moderately easy dinner. Made with potatoes, sliced, 3/4 c. uncooked rice, 2 lb. ground beef, 3 good size onions, cut up fine and 2 green peppers, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Slice potatoes to cover bottom of greased baking dish.
Pour the uncooked rice over the potatoes.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet; spread over rice.
Spread the onions over the meat, then the green peppers.
Pour the tomatoes over all.
Season as desired.
Bake in a slow oven at 325Β° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
