Sicilian Supper
Sicilian Supper is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. egg noodles (fancy), 1 lb. (or more) ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste and 3/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook, drain and rinse noodles.
Brown meat and onions.
Add tomato paste, salt and pepper and water.
Simmer 5 minutes.
In separate bowl, combine milk, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt and green pepper.
Heat to blend.
Alternate layers in casserole (2 quarts).
Bake 20 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Add 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese before serving.
Makes 6 servings, 2 quarts.
