Shrimp Scampi
Shrimp Scampi is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. pepperidge farm frozen puff pastry shells, 1 lb. large shrimp, shelled and deveined, 1 large clove garlic, minced, 2 tbsp. butter or olive oil and 1 (1.8 oz.) pkg. white sauce mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Bake pastry shells according to package directions.
In a medium saucepan, cook shrimp and garlic in butter until lightly browned.
Add sauce mix; blend in milk, green onions, tomatoes and basil.
Bring to a boil, stirring.
Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes until shrimp is thoroughly cooked.
Spoon mixture into warm pastry shells.
