Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an impressive American dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with . raw shrimp, c. chopped onion, c. chopped celery, c. chopped green pepper and tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook and clean shrimp.
Saute veggies in butter and some water.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, flour, sugar and spices.
Add peas.
Cook this all together for a few minutes, until it is well mixed, then simmer about 1/2 hour.
If it seems to be getting too thin, add more flour.
If it is getting too thick, add hot water. Add shrimp to mixture about 15 to 20 minutes before serving. Serve over cooked rice.
