Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 1 garlic clove, minced (optional), 2 tbsp. vegetable oil and 3 tbsp. flour or 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until tender Blend flour, chili powder and salt into the vegetable mixture.
Add tomatoes and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Simmer 20 minutes.
Add shrimp to the vegetable mixture.
Heat thoroughly. Serve over hot rice.
