Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an impressive American dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 34 minutes. Made with c. oil, c. flour, green onions (chopped), c. celery, chopped and . parsley flakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Put oil and flour in pot.
Slowly brown flour, stirring constantly (flour should be very dark, but not burned).
Add onions, celery, parsley and garlic, lightly saute.
Add tomato paste, 5 cups water and other seasonings.
Cook for 3 hours on very low temperature.
Add raw shrimp.
Cook 30 minutes before serving.
Just before serving, add eggs.
Serve over hot rice.
