Seven Minute Frosting
Seven Minute Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites (unbeaten), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 5 tbsp. water, 1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine egg whites, sugar, water and corn syrup in top of a double boiler, beating with rotary eggbeater until thoroughly mixed.
Place over rapidly boiling water; beat constantly with rotary eggbeater and cook 7 minutes, or until frosting will stand in peaks.
Remove from boiling water.
Add vanilla; beat until thick enough to spread.
Makes enough frosting to cover tops and sides of two 9-inch layers or 2 dozen cupcakes.
