Seven Minute Frosting
Seven Minute Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 2 unbeaten egg whites, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. water, 1 tbsp. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine egg whites, sugar, water and corn syrup in top of double boiler, beating with rotary or electric mixer until thoroughly mixed.
Place over rapidly boiling water.
Beat 7 minutes or until frosting stands in peaks.
Remove from boiling water.
Add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread.
Makes enough frosting for the top and sides of two 9-inch layers.
