Settler's Bean Casserole
Settler'S Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. bacon, 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1 small onion, 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans (do not drain) and 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans (do not drain), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Fry bacon.
Fry hamburger with onion.
Crumble bacon and add to hamburger and onion mixture.
Place in casserole.
Add butter beans, kidney beans and pork and beans with all their water.
Add white sugar, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, molasses and salt. Bake at 350Β° for 70 minutes, uncovered.
