Seasoned White Beans
Seasoned White Beans is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 22 minutes. Made with . white beans, medium onion, chopped, pods garlic, cooking oil and celery, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Boil salt pork and set aside.
Reserve some of water from pork add beans.
Place beans in pot with water, about 2 to 3-inches above beans.
Boil until beans get to be a little tender; remove beans from fire.
Drain and rinse beans. Into empty pot, add cooking oil and saute onions, celery, bell pepper and garlic; add cubed salt pork and smother a little while.
To this, add beans and some water from pork. Continue cooking and adding water until desired creaminess. Add onion tops and parsley.
Should cook for half hour or more.
