Scripture Cake
Scripture Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 2 tbsp. honey, 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream butter, sugar and honey.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and salt.
Add alternately with milk, flour and creamed ingredients.
Stir in figs, raisins and almonds.
Fold in 6 stiff beaten egg whites.
Bake in well greased tube pan at 300Β° for 2 hours.
