Scottish Griddle Scones

Mix together dry ingredients.
Pour in milk and melted margarine, enough only to make soft but not sticky dough.
Turn out on to floured surface and knead a few times.
Divide into 4 portions.
Roll each ball out to 1/2 to 3/4-inch thickness.
Place on heated griddle at medium heat.
Turn when golden brown on bottom and brown second side.
Keeps well and can be toasted.
