Scotch Chocolate Cake
Scotch Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 2 sticks oleo, 4 tbsp. cocoa and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Into large mixing bowl, put 2 cups sugar and 2 cups flour.
In a saucepan put oleo, water and cocoa; bring to a boil.
Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.
Add eggs and buttermilk to which soda has been added.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes in large pan (cookie sheet size).
Ice while cake is still hot.
