Scalloped Rhubarb

Made with 3 c. cubed stale bread (no crusts; dice bread in 1/2-inch pieces), 2 c. diced, uncooked rhubarb (1-inch pieces), 1 c. sugar, 1 stick butter, melted and red food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Add butter to bread and mix well.
Add sugar to rhubarb and mix well.
Combine and place in an oblong greased pan.
Put 1 tablespoon water in each corner of pan.
