Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 25 fresh mushrooms (about 1 lb.), 1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage, 1/2 c. sliced green onion, 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (1 3/4 c.) and 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Remove stems from mushrooms and chop fine.
In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook sausage, onions and chopped stems until browned and vegetables are tender; stir to separate.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1/4 cup sauce, bread crumbs and cheese. Spread remaining sauce in bottom of baking dish.
Fill caps and place in baking dish.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
