Sausage Strata
Sausage Strata is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. bulk pork sausage, 1/4 c. each: finely chopped red and green pepper, 6 large eggs, 4 c. milk and 1 tsp. worcestershire, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Day before serving, grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Saute sausage and green and red peppers until well browned.
Drain off all fat. Add mustard to mixture.
Arrange bread in bottom of pan.
Top with sausage mixture and cheese.
In large bowl, lightly beat eggs. Beat in milk, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, nutmeg and salt.
Pour over layers in pan.
Cover tightly.
Refrigerate overnight.
Next day, heat oven to 350Β°.
Bake, uncovered, 40 to 50 minutes.
Serve immediately.
